My name is Sumayyah Rawashdeh, and I will be a clinical volunteer for the FYI this year. I graduated with my bachelors in Human Development & Psychology from UC Davis and my masters in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I currently work as a registered associate marriage and family therapist in California at the Khalil Center. I’m excited to channel my passion for counseling into writing so that every Muslim has access to critical education backed by research and integrated with faith. In my free time, I love taking nature walks in the fresh air!
