Tugba Ozyurek is currently interning for her master’s in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University and will continue her clinical work in the U.S.

Certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and EMDR therapist and currently completing certification as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-S), Tugba integrates trauma-informed care with holistic healing approaches. She has been practicing, specializing in helping women navigate the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and infertility, creating safe and nurturing spaces where they feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.

In addition to individual therapy, she has experience facilitating psycho-educational workshops and empowerment-focused support groups that foster resilience, connection, and self-discovery.

She is passionate about developing accessible mental health resources for the community and actively contributes to academic work as a volunteer researcher.
