Yumna Safi is the Fund Development Associate at The Family & Youth Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in History (anti-imperialism and social justice) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With almost two years of experience working in the Muslim nonprofit space, Yumna is eager to use her skills and talents to strengthen missions that are making a meaningful impact in her community. Outside of working with The FYI, she enjoys reading fiction, crocheting, and being with her siblings.
