Zarin Ismail is the Digital Resource Intern for The Family & Youth Institute. She recently received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2025, where she studied journalism and sociology.

Ismail spent her undergraduate studies writing, designing, and editing for publications like The Independent Florida Alligator, WUFT News, Atrium Magazine, and Sparks Magazine. Her fervent desire to highlight experiences of Muslim and Asian communities from a sociocultural and psychological perspective has moved her to dedicate her creative abilities to The FYI.

In her pastime, Ismail plays with her two cats, watches whatever is new and trending on Netflix, and eats her mother’s cooking with gusto.
