Omar is a community activist and entrepreneur and has had a diverse professional background of over 30 years including Islamic finance and investments, information technology, education, and civil rights. He has been involved in founding and supporting many community and charitable organizations, including helping found the Haydar Foundation to carry on the philanthropic endeavors of his father, God’s mercy on his soul. He operates a logistics and liquidation warehouse in Taylor, Michigan.

Omar is married and blessed with four children residing in Plymouth, Michigan.
