Sumbal Raza is the Operations and Human Resources Officer at the Family Youth Institute. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Professional Child Development from the University of Wyoming, and two Associate’s degrees, in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, from Casper College. Sumbal has worked in administrative roles for multiple non-profit organizations and small businesses across the country.
Sumbal is committed to community growth and youth development. She has worked with the Muslim American Society (MAS) in multiple capacities, including as Boston Chapter President and a National General Assembly member, and has been engaged in the local community as a Girl Scout leader and youth mentor for over 15 years. Sumbal lives with her family and two cats in the Greater Boston area, and has been homeschooling for 20 years.
